ICI’s admission criteria, approval process and surveillance monitoring will ensure that all market participants will be able to fulfill their trading obligations. Each market participant will need to submit an admission application, be approved, and need to meet the financial capital requirements guidelines.
All participants must demonstrate fiscal and moral integrity, as well as financial capitalization, which justify ICI’s assumption of risk inherent in providing a centralized marketplace. The admission criteria, financial requirements and monitoring in conjunction with the support and experience of UCX and their partnership with the CME, will establish the basis for providing a sound, reputable and lasting exchange. Participants trading activities will be monitored for required capital compliance and financial solvency.
